Excited...

Hey Guys. This is so exciting for me to be apart of Adventure Woman and get to share the journey to my very first Ironman. The holidays are here and for most that means time off the bike, out of the pool and easy runs. But for me it’s a different story.

Just coming off the best marathon run so far, running a 3:26:11 and placing 35th in my age group out of 787, I will take off until Dec 14th, when my Ironman training begins.

During those three weeks I will still run, ride and swim, but it will be more when I can, instead of on a schedule. I’m also going to take Pilates classes and of course take my Boston Terrier Puma to the park as much as I can.

Oh yeah, and I’m getting married in May…so I’ll be trying to get as much of the wedding stuff I can get done before my training really starts to consume my life!!

Hope everyone has a great holiday and I hope you keep coming back to read about my adventures as a bride-to-be-ironman-to-be-fulltime-graphic designer-adventure woman!!!!
